This line of flushed colors is produced with a specific varnish designed to give the ink maker high gloss, good rub and fast setting inks that will stay open on the presses for longer periods of time.
The following is a suggested starting formula. The use of alkyd or any hydrocarbon varnish can cause this system to lose some of the setting qualities. Dry Teflon is recommended to improve the rub.
