These products were designed to give the ink maker flushes with high gloss, excellent setting speed and a wide range of vehicle compatibility, making it very versatile in formulating high performance heatset inks. An additional factor is its ability to keep ink/water balance in supporting the higher press speeds.

Ink Formulation—the gel type let down varnish has good gloss and excellent setting speed. Its fast solvent release builds inks that run at the highest press speeds without higher than normal oven temperatures. The free flowing varnish has the ability to improve setting speed and holdout without the danger of misting. The varnish can replace some of the solvents and reduce the volatile emissions.
